Metal parts are made of cast zinc alloy, hand-polished, then triple-coated with copper, nickel and chrome. We use a special process called knurling on the razor and brush that requires precise tooling and artistic skill to achieve exact diamond-shaped patterns. Knurling is at once functional and decorative, creating a nonslip grip for safer handling. Stockholm's ergonomically crafted razor and Grade A silvertip badger hair brush magnetically attach to the weighted stand. An inner weight and diameter give the razor perfect balance to provide a smooth and controlled shave. The chrome-plated, spring-loaded ejector button on the Stockholm razor handle quickly releases the compatible Gillette MACH3 blade. Stockholm Groom Center is only available as a complete set.
